The Faculty of Economics, as an organizational unit of the University of Zenica, was established on September 12, 2005. year by Decision of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Assembly number: 01-38-25350/05.
In the first generation of undergraduate studies, in the academic year 2005/2006, 239 full-time and full-time self-financing students and 187 part-time students were enrolled. At the Faculty, until the last joint promotion of graduates and masters of the University of Zenica, held on October 19, 2013. year, 549 students graduated.
The first generation of master's postgraduate studies was enrolled in the academic year 2006/2007. year, and the second generation in the academic year 2007/2008. In an effort to modernize the Curriculum and programs as much as possible, and to intensify activities on internationalization and international recognition of diplomas, the Faculty has since the academic year 2009/2010. started with the realization of a one-year master's study.
