The 8th International Scientific and Professional Conference Business Development 2018 was held: Economic challenges of countries in transition

We are proud to announce that on November 14 and 15, 2018 held a two-day, eighth international scientific-professional conference Business development 2018: Economic challenges of countries in transition, organized by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica. The co-organizers of the Conference were the Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tuzla, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Kragujevac and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro.

The conference is supported by the main sponsor of the Ministry of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and several sponsors: the company Nedjing doo Tešanj, AS HOLDING doo Tešanj, Babilon doo Tuzla, Almy doo Zenica, HIFA-OIL doo Tešanj, Prograd Holz doo Žepče, IGM doo Visoko , Koteks doo Tešanj, then the Ministry of Finance of Sarajevo Canton and the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton. Taking into account the extremely successful cooperation with the co-organizers and sponsors, the desire to continue cooperation in the future is expressed.

Since one of the main goals of BDC 2018 was to bring together academics, authors, scientists and practitioners from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region to share their research, good practice and discuss the exciting paths of countries in transition, we hereby emphasize that the same fully realized and that the highest interest and attendance at the Conference, organized by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica and the co-organizers, has been recorded so far.

14.11.2018. their works were presented by the distinguished keynote speakers of the 8th International Scientific and Professional Conference Business Development 2018: Economic Challenges of Countries in Transition in the premises of the Dubrovnik Hotel. More than 150 participants attended the presentations of respected lecturers, and after the presentation of the keynote speaker, the premises of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, led by the Dean, Assoc. Ph.D. Alaudin Brkić, they visited Academician prof. dr.sc. Rajko Tomaš, Prof. Ph.D. Dragan Đuričin, Prof. Ph.D. Ljubo Jurčić, Prof. Ph.D. Petar Veselinović and Prof. Ph.D. Srdjan Furtula. On this occasion, the guests presented gifts to the distinguished Dean Brkić, and the directions of future action and further cooperation between the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica and the Faculties of Economics of the co-organizers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region were agreed upon.

On the second day of the Conference, November 15, 2018, the authors and co-authors presented their scientific and professional works in the premises of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, whose works will be published in the Proceedings, published by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica. On that occasion, the event attracted scientists and practitioners from many disciplines to present their research, discuss economic opportunities and challenges faced by countries in transition.

After the presentation of the (co)author, Certificates were awarded to the participants of the 8th International Scientific-Professional Conference Business Development 2018: Economic Challenges of Countries in Transition, and Certificates of Appreciation to respected sponsors.

Registration

The works of the participants of the BDC 2018 Conference are not subject to the obligation to pay the registration fee.

The costs related to the organization of the Conference are borne by the organizer: Faculty of Economics, University of Zenica. This includes registration, printing of registration and promotional material, and Proceedings, as well as a common welcome dinner for all participants on the first day of the Conference.

Only for authorized representatives of co-organizers, and foreign participants whose works will be included in the Conference program, the organizer undertakes to bear the costs of two-day accommodation in the Dubrovnik hotel.
