Course program

Lectures:

PART I: General knowledge of goods (Division and classification of goods. Technology and environmental protection. Quality of goods and its determination. Standards and other regulations for regulating product quality. Packaging and packaging. Transport, storage and control of goods.)

PART II: Special part of knowledge of goods (Water technology. Fuels. Chemical products. Agrochemical products. Metals and metallurgy products. Wood and wood products. Products of the non-metal industry. Plastics, rubber, rubber and their products. Textile products. Products from skins and furs. Foodstuffs. Tobacco. Coffee. Tea. Spices.)

Objective of the course

Acquiring knowledge in the field of commercial knowledge of goods. In the general part of the subject, systematization and quality of goods, packaging, method of manipulation, transportation and storage of goods are dealt with. The second part deals with the study of concrete goods, that is, it deals with all the issues arising from the specifics of concrete goods.

 

Conducting classes

Lectures are conducted with the use of teaching aids, schemes and graphic displays, as well as active learning techniques with the active participation of students. In addition, students create seminar papers that are presented and a discussion is held on the subject problem with all students.

 

Exam

Students who pass the first test during the semester are obliged to pass the second test and the oral exam. The written part of the exam is a prerequisite for the final oral exam. Activities include discussion during class and preparation of a seminar paper (optional).

Competences

  • They differentiate goods according to their economic purpose, degree of processing, quality, etc.,
  • With the help of standards and other quality regulation regulations, it recognizes the original, surrogate or counterfeit product,
  • Recognizing the quality of goods according to the method of packaging, transportation, storage and control of the specific product,
  • Apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
