Journal of the Faculty
BH ECONOMIC FORUM is defined as a scientific and professional journal that contains original scientific papers, previous announcements, review scientific papers, professional articles, reviews, presentations and reports. The authors of the papers are recognized scientists in the field of economics from BiH and abroad, as well as those who are just becoming so.
The journal thematically covers four scientific areas, but is not limited to them only: economic theory and policy, marketing, management, finance and accounting and quantitative economics, so priority is given to works from these scientific areas. Papers from other scientific fields in the field of economics and those with a multidisciplinary approach are also welcome.
The faculty magazine is published twice a year.
All submitted works are reviewed by the editorial board, and if they pass the further procedure, they are sent to one domestic and one external reviewer in order to maintain anonymity and improve quality.
The magazines are available in the bookstore of the Faculty of Economics, University of Zenica.
Recommendations to authors when publishing studies in an academic journal
Depositing databases from conducted research
Following the general principles of open science and specific principles from Guidelines for the promotion of transparency and openness in the policies and procedures of academic journals, we strongly recommend that you preserve the primary data you collected as part of a study you are submitting for publication in the long term by depositing it in a reliable repository of databases for your scientific field. For scientific disciplines from social sciences, we recommend that you entrust the data to the Archive of Data from Social Sciences in Bosnia and Herzegovina DASS-BiH (www.dass.credi.ba). DASS-BiH receives, prepares, disseminates and stores digital databases from social sciences, including databases from quantitative and qualitative research. The authors retain the intellectual property rights to the data and have the right to define the conditions under which the data can be shared with the scientific community through the deposit process. Data are stored in DASS-BiH according to the highest standards of protection, and the authors of the databases are provided with additional visibility through the possibility of citing the databases when they are reused. You can learn more about the deposit procedure here, and for all information you can also contact dass@credi.ba or phone number +38733 205 859.

TYPES OF WORK
Works can be classified as:
original scientific work (Eng. original scientific paper) - contains unpublished and new results of original research in full form. A work is characterized as original when it makes a significant contribution to a certain scientific issue or its understanding and when it describes new research results from a certain field; it is written so that any expert in the given field, based on the information provided, can repeat the experiment and achieve the described results with the same accuracy or within the error limits specified by the author or can repeat the author's observations, calculations or theoretical deductions;
previous announcement (English preliminary notes) - contains new, not yet published results of original research, but in a preliminary form, this form of article implies the publication of new scientific results, but without enough details that would allow the reader to check the presented data, as is the case in the original scientific work;
review scientific paper (Eng. review article) - contains an original, concise and critical presentation of an area of theory or practical research, in which the author actively participates critically, and in which the role of the author's original contribution to that area must be emphasized in relation to already published works, as well as an overview of those works. The review paper contains a complete presentation of the state of a certain area of theory or its application, the author presents his own critical review and assessment, and must provide information on all published works that he used as a starting point for his work;
professional article (eng. professional paper) - a professional article that contains useful contributions from a certain profession and for a certain profession, but does not represent original research;
reviews (critique), reviews (review) and reports (report) - other uncategorized works are published in a special section of the magazine provided for that.
REVIEW PROCEDURE
All works are subject to double anonymous review. Only papers with affirmative reviews will be published in the journal. Under regular circumstances, the review process lasts a maximum of four weeks, and only exceptionally up to three months. The period from the receipt of the work to its publication lasts an average of 90 days. In case of deviation from this instruction, the editors reserve the right to edit and adapt the text to the standards of the b/h/s language.

The title of the paper is written in TNR or Arial format, 14, bold, centered.
Abstract of work up to 250 words, key words (three to five) and JEL classification code. The abstract contains a general description of the topic, the subject and problem of the research, the methodology of the work, an indication of the results and conclusions.
Tables, graphs, and equations contain a title and number in the order in which they are presented. The legend and source of data and the author's note are listed below the tables and graphs in italics (TNR 11, or Arial 11).
