The Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica is an educational and scientific institution whose mission is the education of young experts in the field of economic sciences: business management and accounting and audit management.
The mission of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica is based on: scientific-research, teaching-scientific work and cooperation with the community (economic, political and cultural institutions). The Faculty of Economics realizes its mission by training students to become true business leaders who can respond to the constant challenges of business practice.
With regular innovation of curricula, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica offers education that is always in line with contemporary trends in economics. The mission of the Faculty is also reflected in the formation and development of its own personnel as well as the improvement of scientific and research work through the activities of the Economic Institute.
The Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica is a modern higher education institution that occupies an important place in the higher education sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and Europe. The Faculty of Economics educates business leaders who will be able to respond to the constant challenges of business practice and academic experts who develop and improve knowledge in the field of economics.
By 2020, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica will become one of the leading higher education institutions in the higher education sector in the region of Southeast Europe by implementing educational programs aligned with the most modern trends in the field of economic sciences.
In addition to the current teaching programs in the fields of Business Management and Accounting and Audit Management, the Faculty of Economics will, in the next five years, establish two study programs in the undergraduate and graduate-master's programs and one program in the doctoral cycle of study.
