Our students are the result of refinement and development of knowledge, skills and abilities of future successful economists through the four-year study programs of our faculty and other curricular and extracurricular activities. 

At the Faculty of Economics on Thursday, June 13, 2024. of the Deanship of the Faculty of Economics, University of Zenica v. prof. Ph.D. Ajla Muratović-Dedić and Vice Dean for Teaching and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Economics, University of Zenica, assistant professor. Ph.D. Jasmina Džafić hosted the students of the first and second cycle of studies who in the previous period showed proactivity and dedication in extracurricular activities, and achieved high results with their efforts and work. 

In a relaxed atmosphere, the students' experiences and future plans, their efforts, and ways in which they can contribute to the additional development of this institution were discussed. 

At the Student Competition 2024, which was organized by the Hifa-Oil company, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica was represented by students of the 3rd year of study - Amila Dizdarević, Munir Mujčić, Edin Sarajlić; 4th year of studies – Đemila Mekić; and II cycle of studies – Adnan Spahić, BSc. The winning team consisted of our third-year student Amila Dizdarević, together with her colleague Emina Alagić from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Bihać. Second place was won by a team whose member was our third-year student Edin Sarajlić. 

Second-year students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, Dženisa Đerahović, Lejla Mekić and Nađa Šišić, were selected as the best team in front of our faculty in the first phase of the competition with their creative application and fulfilled the conditions for entering the second phase of the competition. We wish them the best of luck to win first place and a study trip to Brussels together in their Leptiri team. 

The results of our students were also noted at the regional competition "Economy & Management 2024", where second-year student of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, Emina Šaćirbegović, was part of the winning team that won first place in knowledge. Our student Emina and her team devised a successful solution to a real practice case on the topic of "Digitalization". 

Master of Economics Elma Sijerčić, MA won the second prize within the Sparkasse bank's unique program "Golden S for the best work in economics and banking" with an applied paper on the topic "The influence of the corporate image of insurance companies on the loyalty of policyholders in Bosnia and Herzegovina" in a competition in which students from six leading Faculties of Economics from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina participated.
