The Student Association of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica was a participant and initiator of various events at this faculty. The most important ones will be mentioned below. In addition to the students being active in sports, which is confirmed by the results of the competitions, the students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica are the initiators of their own competitions.
The Student Strategic Competition is a competition organized by EFUNZA students, and the final was realized in October 2014. Students worked on solving real business cases of two domestic companies, AS Group Jelah and ITC doo Zenica. Eight teams were given the opportunity to present their strategies in front of the committee, which included the managers of the mentioned companies.
In May 2017, the first "Branding up" conference was held in the premises of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, organized by former and current students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, and with the support of the dean and teachers. Those present had the opportunity to follow the lecture of Nina Bijedić Mujanović, Marketing Director of the AS Group, and the lectures of Jasmin Pivić, Founder of Area7 Entertainment, Kemal H. Balihodžić, CEO of UpTrend Marketing Solutions and Nedžad Biberović, Marketing Manager of the Akova Group, as well as Prof. Dr. .sc. Zvonimir Pavlek, who has been a marketing expert for more than 40 years and the creator of the well-known brands Čokolino and Vegeta.
In December 2017, the Student Association of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica organized a project called "Business Fever", which consisted of a conference, a workshop and a competition in writing business plan models. This project was once again a meeting place for students and prominent figures from the field of entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics in Zenica. The participants had the opportunity to hear the life story of Damir Bajraktarević, a young and already successful entrepreneur, who is engaged in the production of wooden eyeglass frames, Adisa Tufo, winner of several local and international awards, including the "Successful Women of Bosnia and Herzegovina" award in the category of entrepreneurship, and the award "Best Woman of the 21st Century of Southeast Europe", which was presented to her in Belgrade in December of this year, also in the category of entrepreneurship and Amar Mušeljić, a successful 22-year-old young man, who broke away from lethargy and indolence, and who was the first in Bosnia and Herzegovina to launch the production of LED bulbs. On the second day, a competition was held on the topic of writing business plan models.
EFUNZA students hosted the CEO conference, the largest regional educational event that inspired young people with successful and positive life stories through ups and downs. At the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, the first CEO conference was held in 2014, the second in 2015. The third CEO conference was organized in 2017 by EFUNZA and EFUNSA students at the Bosnian National Theater in Zenica.
In November 2019, students of the Faculty of Economics, in competition with teams from three economics faculties from Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka, won first place in the competition organized by the Hifa Oil company.
Students are always there to support all other activities of the Faculty of Economics, such as open days, promotion of the Faculty of Economics in other schools, cities and fairs.
