Programs in the areas of economics and public policy "PEPP" are master's programs in which scholarships are offered for young professionals from developing countries and countries in transition, who have a university education and work experience in policy making. Since its inception in 1995, 135 candidates from 48 countries have participated in the "PEPP" study program of the Japanese University of Tsukuba.

Application criteria
Interested candidates from Bosnia and Herzegovina who wish to apply for this study program must meet the following application criteria:
- To have a completed Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of 16 years of school education.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language (Interested candidates from Bosnia and Herzegovina must demonstrate a good knowledge of the English language by submitting standardized tests of English language proficiency: TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC with the application).
- Interested candidates from Bosnia and Herzegovina should be in good health.
Expenses covered by this scholarship program
This scholarship program covers the following expenses:
- Return air ticket (economy class) between home country and Japan, plus travel allowance for each one-way trip,
- full tuition,
- Monthly allowance for living expenses in Japan,
- National health insurance.
Deadlines
The deadline for the application of interested candidates for World Bank and Asian Development Bank scholarships within this study program is 15. 11. 2024. year, while the deadline for applications for general enrollment of self-financing candidates 17. 1. 2025. years.
