On December 22, 2025, students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, accompanied by senior assistant Ilma Dedić, paid an expert visit to the company Babilon dd Tuzla, one of the most recognizable domestic companies in the field of furniture production and trade.

During the visit, the students were warmly welcomed by the director of the human resources and internal control sector, Ismeta Omerčević, and the general manager of the company, Emir Kovčić, who shared valuable experiences from everyday business practice with the students. Prof. played a special role in the implementation of this study visit. Ph.D. Sead Omerčević, owner of the company Babilon dd Tuzla and external associate of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, who was the initiator of the visit itself and its main driver.

The visit left a strong and extremely positive impression on the students, who expressed their enthusiasm for the overall experience, organization and openness of the host in presenting the company's business story. Sincere congratulations are addressed to the management of the company for the results and success so far, with a special emphasis on the attitude towards challenges and continuous development, which represents a strong foundation for further growth and progress of the company. Such experiences, presented firsthand, were especially inspiring to the students.

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to tour the company's management and administration, furniture showroom, production facilities, warehouse and wholesale. In one place, they learned about the complete production process and the entire company's business - from the idea to the final product and the market. A particularly valuable segment of the visit was the conversations with employees, through which the students gained insight into professional experiences, challenges that the company faced in different phases of its business, as well as key competencies and knowledge that are important for their future employment.
