We are proud to announce that on February 11, 2025, the sixth regular session of the expert-consultative body of the Economic and Business Council of the University of Zenica (EPS UNZE) was held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, which is now chaired by Mahmut Galijašević, General Director of MANN+HUMMEL BA dd.

Members of the Economic and Business Council, consisting of 25 respectable companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with representatives of the University of Zenica, discussed several key topics at today's meeting that will have a long-term impact on the development of the University of Zenica, with special emphasis on strengthening cooperation between the University and the economy and the community.

Today's meeting also discussed various forms of education, the opening of new study programs, as well as the continued involvement of experts and lecturers from practice in the activities of the University of Zenica. Continuity in the work of the Economic and Business Council represents one of the key steps in the further development strategy of the Faculty of Economics and the University of Zenica, all with the aim of encouraging stronger cooperation between the academic sector and the economy, redefining the role of science in the economy, but also creating a kind of platform for the exchange of existing knowledge and, in this regard, the education of personnel in accordance with the needs of the labor market.

All these efforts are one of the steps towards achieving the goal we are striving for, which is a knowledge society.
